Creating an ad campaign

Create paid job-distribution campaigns through CVViZ's Campaigns module — channels, status flow, and payment.

What Campaigns is in CVViZ

Campaigns at /campaigns is for paid job-posting distribution across third-party channels — not for email outreach. (For email outreach, see and the Email Marketing module.)

You pay to have a job posted to one or more partner channels for a defined duration; the campaign runs through approval, scheduling, online, and offline states until it ends.

The Campaigns nav requires the View campaigns permission.

The four list views

The Campaigns page has a left-rail menu with these views (CVViZ calls these:

  • All Campaigns — every campaign you've ever created.
  • Active Campaigns — currently online.
  • Scheduled Campaigns — approved and queued to publish.
  • All Channels — browse the channels available for distribution (filterable by educations, regions, sectors, channel types).

(There's also a Closed Campaigns view for past campaigns.)

Campaign statuses

Campaigns move through a defined status lifecycle (from CAMPAIGN_STATUS_TYPES):

  • New (60, blue) — "New campaign, this draft version remains to be approved".
  • Open (56, blue) — "Campaign has been approved, detailed information like job description to be checked before publishing campaign".
  • Publish (62, blue) — queued to go online.
  • Online (64, green) — "Campaign is online, i.e. published on all channels".
  • Suspend (54, orange) — temporarily put offline.
  • On hold (58, orange) — "Campaign is put on hold, please contact your partner".
  • Retract (66, orange) — queued to be retracted from channels.
  • Offline (68, grey) — campaign ended.
  • Cancelled (52, red) — campaign cancelled.

Creating a campaign — the editor flow

The Campaign Editor walks you through several steps:

  1. Selected Channels — pick the partner channels to distribute to.
  2. Campaign Job Details — confirm the job content (title, description, etc.) that goes out to the channels.
  3. Review Campaign — preview the full campaign before payment.
  4. Payment Summary — see the cost breakdown.
  5. Review Payment — confirm payment details.
  6. Success Card — confirmation once submitted.

What's on a campaign card

In list views, each campaign card surfaces:

  • Job title — links to the job page in CVViZ.
  • Status tag — colored by the status (red for Cancelled, green for Online, etc.).
  • Target price — how much you're spending.
  • Duration — days from to.
  • Created date.
  • "View Job Application Page" button — opens the public job URL in a new tab.

Channels

The "All Channels" view lists every channel CVViZ partners with, filterable by educations, regions, sectors, and channel types. Browse here before starting a campaign to know what's available.

Tips

  • Browse "All Channels" first to understand what's available for your region and role family.
  • Have the job's content polished before campaigning — channels distribute what's on the job, so a sloppy description distributes badly.
  • Watch the status flow. If a campaign sits in "On hold" for long, contact your partner / CVViZ support.
  • Use Active Campaigns to monitor what's live, Scheduled to confirm pipeline, Closed for retrospectives.
