A tour of the dashboard

A walkthrough of the CVViZ dashboard — header greeting, job counters, the four KPI cards, and the activity panels.

The dashboard is your starting point

The dashboard at /dashboard is the first thing you see after logging in. It answers three questions:

  1. How is my pipeline doing right now?
  2. What's been happening on my jobs?
  3. What's coming up that I need to act on?

Access requires the View dashboard permission.

  • Greeting — your avatar plus "Hello [name], Good morning/afternoon/evening!" with your title and group.
  • Job Status Counters — top-line counts of your jobs by status, shown in the header strip.

The IntroduceRow KPI cards

The first row holds four KPI cards summarizing your recruiting activity:

  • Total Resumes — total uploads with the average daily upload underneath.
  • Resumes Uploaded By Me — your personal contribution.
  • Resumes Uploaded By Vendors — what your external partners have submitted.
  • Pass Through Rate — the conversion funnel for the last 28 days (shared → shortlisted → interviewed → offered → joined → not considered).

Duplicate-resume count and overall jobs count are also surfaced here.

Left column

  • Recent Activity — chronological feed of your team's actions on jobs and candidates.
  • Upload Timeline (Sales Card) — a line chart of resume uploads over time, with a date range picker. Admins can switch views between team-wide, recruiter, and vendor data.

Right column

  • Complete Onboarding — only appears if you previously chose "later" on the onboarding flow. Surfaces uncompleted steps so they don't get forgotten.
  • Upcoming Events — your next interviews and scheduled meetings.
  • Resume Upload Source — pie chart showing where your candidates are coming from (careers page, job boards, vendors, referrals, etc.).

The "first-job" welcome modal

If your account has no jobs yet, a welcome modal explains the 3-step quickstart:

  1. Add Job — head to the Jobs & Resumes tab.
  2. Add Resumes — click into the job to add candidates.
  3. Rank — open Rank to see AI matching for the job's candidates.

It includes a Get Started by Adding a New Job button. The modal also notes that Chrome is the recommended browser and that you can install the CVViZ Chrome extension for sourcing.

Date range

The Upload Timeline supports preset ranges and custom date pickers. The selection updates the timeline; the KPI cards use a fixed 28-day window for Pass Through Rate.

Quick actions across the dashboard

Various dashboard widgets dispatch into shared drawers/modals. From here you can also kick off:

  • Add Job drawer.
  • Add Candidate drawer.
  • Add User Role, Add Recruiter, Add Vendor, Add Customer from the welcome flow's quick-actions.

Tips

  • The dashboard is best on Chrome — it's the recommended browser per the in-app welcome notice, and the Chrome extension is only available there.
  • Pass Through Rate is the single most useful number on this page for spotting funnel issues — large drops between stages tell you where to focus.
