Troubleshoot browser, cache and site-data issues

Isolate loading or session problems without clearing unrelated browsing data.

Use these checks when CVViZ does not load, appears out of date or repeatedly returns to sign-in.

Before you start

Save unsent text and note the error. Confirm the URL is https://app.cvviz.com. Avoid repeating a purchase, email send or import simply because the confirmation screen is unclear; check whether the action already completed first.

1. Reload and compare

  1. Reload the page. If needed, use the browser's reload-without-cache option.

  2. Check your connection and whether other websites load.

  3. Open CVViZ in a private/incognito window and sign in if your organization allows it.

  4. Try the same task without submitting a duplicate transaction or communication.

A private window uses a separate session and can change extension and cookie behavior.

2. Clear only CVViZ site data

If the problem occurs only in your usual browser session, use its site-data controls to remove stored data for https://app.cvviz.com, then sign in again. This can remove saved site preferences and sign you out, so complete or copy unsaved work first.

Browser menus change. Use the vendor's current instructions rather than clearing all browsing data:

In Safari on Mac, the controls are under Safari β†’ Settings β†’ Privacy β†’ Manage Website Data. In Firefox, use Settings β†’ Privacy & Security and the control for clearing data for selected sites. Search for CVViZ and inspect the selected entries before removing them.

3. Check extensions and connection permissions

Temporarily disable extensions where your organization permits, then re-enable them one at a time to identify the cause. Keep corporate security controls enabled.

If a provider sign-in or connection window is blocked, allow the requested pop-up/site exception for that flow and retry once. Check the provider's consent result and the connection state in CVViZ.

4. Update or compare the browser/network

Use a current browser version, restart the browser, and compare another approved browser. If the failure happens only on a corporate network, give IT the task, error, time and affected request rather than requesting a blanket wildcard allowance.

Check the outcome

Repeat the affected view after each change. For saves, imports, purchases or messages, check the record or status before retrying. Report problems affecting several users to support.

Still stuck?

Contact CVViZ support, including the exact error, browser/version, device, time/timezone and results of the comparisons above. If sign-in is unavailable, use hello@cvviz.com or the contact page. Do not include passwords, connection credentials or private browser logs containing sensitive information.
