Troubleshooting & Support

Troubleshoot calendar connections and missing events

Check the correct account, active calendar, availability settings and scheduling result.

Use these checks when an event, availability slot or booking link does not behave as expected. Email and calendar connections are separate capabilities; inspect the calendar itself.

1. Confirm the host and connection

  1. Sign in as the person who owns the calendar used for scheduling.

  2. Open Settings β†’ Integrations & Tools β†’ Integrations and inspect the calendar connections.

  3. Confirm the correct Google or Microsoft account is connected. A connected email card alone does not establish calendar readiness.

  4. If multiple providers are connected, confirm the intended Active provider.

Each user needs their own calendar connection.

2. Review the calendar settings

Open the provider's settings and review Default calendar, Working hours with timezone, and Default conferencing where available. Select Save changes and confirm the settings remain selected.

If calendars cannot load, use Retry. If no calendars are found, verify that the selected provider account has an accessible calendar/mailbox and reconnect or select another appropriate account.

3. Inspect the event or booking

Compare the event date, time, timezone, host and calendar in CVViZ with the provider calendar. Check the displayed date range and selected calendars before concluding an event is missing.

For booking links, check the availability window, meeting duration, working hours and calendar conflicts.

For an invitation, review the attendee list and actual scheduling result. For direct booking, review Panelists and Candidate email; the saved booking includes the candidate email in the invitation. For a booking link, confirm that the candidate selected and booked a slot. See Schedule an interview or send a booking link and Let candidates book an interview time.

Do not recreate the meeting repeatedly while the original result is uncertain. Search for the existing event before sending another invitation.

4. Reconnect only when needed

If authorization has failed, use the relevant connection action, complete provider sign-in with the intended account and return to CVViZ. Review the connected identity and settings again.

Allow the specific sign-in window if the browser blocks it. If the provider requires organizational approval, ask its administrator to review the request. Do not globally disable privacy controls to troubleshoot one connection.

Before disconnecting an email/shared account, read its warning: the action can affect calendar access too. See Disconnect or reconnect an integration safely.

Understand external changes

After an external calendar edit, refresh and inspect the corresponding CVViZ event. Candidate/job scheduling history and notifications may need separate updates.

Contact support

Contact CVViZ support with provider, host/connected address, event or booking-link reference, scheduled time and timezone, current connection status and exact error. Include whether the event exists in the provider calendar. Do not share authorization links or credentials.
