Invite users and check invitation status
Invite teammates with suitable access, check invitation status, and resolve delivery or reactivation problems.
Invite teammates, assign roles, and manage access according to each userβs status.
Before you start
You need permission to manage users and an available user seat. Additional email-domain restrictions and child-company access can also apply. Ask a billing administrator to check capacity or Multi-Domain Access if CVViZ reports a limit or domain issue.
Invite a new teammate
Open Settings β Team & Access β Users and choose Add User.
Enter the teammateβs first name, last name, and email address.
Choose the User Role and review its permissions. In a multi-company setup, check the company association offered by the form.
Complete the invitation action and wait for confirmation.
Ask the teammate to open the invitation sent to that address and complete acceptance.
Only administrators can grant administrator access. Other user managers cannot grant access beyond their own permissions. To change permissions, use User Roles; changes affect everyone assigned to that role.
Understand the status
Invited: the user has not completed acceptance.
Active: the user is active in the workspace.
Inactive: the user has been deactivated; use the available reactivation action if they need access again.
Use the listβs search and status filters to find the correct record before changing it.
If the invitation has not arrived
Check the saved email address, the userβs status, and the inbox or spam folder for that exact address. If CVViZ reports that invitation delivery could not be queued, follow the retry instruction shown.
Editing a user does not resend an invitation. If an invitation is stale and no resend action is available, ask support to check delivery and issue a valid invitation. Keep the existing user record.
Edit or reactivate a user
Use Edit User for permitted details and role changes. The email field is read-only during editing; contact support if the login address needs correction.
For an inactive user, use Reactivate user and review the confirmation. Reactivation requires available capacity and can initiate a new invitation. An existing active or invited email may be rejected as already registered; check the existing record first.
