Disconnect or reconnect an integration safely
Review dependencies, reconnect the intended account, and confirm the workflow before resuming.
Use each integration's connection controls to restore access or stop using a provider. Review the connection's scope and dependent work before disconnecting it.
Before you start
Open Settings β Integrations & Tools β Integrations as the user who owns the connection. You need the relevant settings access and workspace feature availability. Note the connected address, selected provider/calendar and any pending messages or interviews.
Connections belong to individual users. Review each provider connection separately from user deactivation.
Email connections
Open the Email section and inspect the actual provider card and status.
If Reconnect is offered, use that action to restore authorization to the intended account. If an unfinished connection offers Restart, begin that flow again.
Before choosing Disconnect, read the scope shown on the card. An Outlook/shared account can disconnect both email and calendar for that account. A separately connected Gmail mailbox can disconnect Gmail only.
If disconnecting is intended, confirm it, then use Connect or Reconnect and select the correct provider account.
Return to CVViZ and verify the saved connected address and state. Review the sender in the email composer before resuming sends.
Gmail requires an enabled workspace. Check email access separately from calendar access and choose the intended sender; a failed connection does not automatically select another sender.
Calendar connections
Review the calendar provider's Active state and settings. After reconnecting, check the default calendar, working hours/timezone and conferencing choice. If two providers are connected, confirm which one is active for the intended scheduling workflow.
Manage existing interviews and invitations through their normal update or cancellation controls in the originating provider.
See Connect Google or Microsoft Outlook Calendar and Troubleshoot calendar connections and missing events.
Twilio and other integration controls
For your Twilio connection, use Edit to replace the saved configuration or Remove to disconnect it. Removing the CVViZ connection does not itself cancel your Twilio account or number. See Connect Twilio for SMS and browser calling.
Job-board/application settings and booking links have their own publishing or scheduling controls. Use the relevant feature guide rather than assuming all integrations have the same disconnect behavior.
Verify before resuming work
Review the connection status, identity and settings before resuming work. If needed, send a test to an approved recipient.
Check message and event records before retrying. Reconnection does not automatically replay failed work or restore unavailable history; history depends on provider access and retention.
Troubleshooting
Allow the providerβs sign-in window for this flow. Ask its administrator for organizational approval when required.
Contact CVViZ support with the provider, connected address, current status, exact error and time/timezone. Never include credentials or authorization links.
