Getting Started

Invite your team and choose access

Add internal teammates, select roles, and understand invitations and partner accounts.

Invite colleagues into the correct workspace with a suitable role, then check that they complete their invitation.

Before you start

You need permission to manage users, an available user seat and access to the target workspace or sub-account. Only administrators can grant administrator access. Other authorized user managers cannot grant permissions beyond their own access.

Create any needed custom role before inviting someone. Use the person's work email; the invitation and account setup depend on that address.

Invite a teammate

  1. Open Settings β†’ Team & Access β†’ Users and select Add User.

  2. In Invite New User, enter First Name, Last Name and Email Address.

  3. Select User Role and inspect the role's permissions. For an available sub-account option, confirm the intended company before choosing its role.

  4. Review the address and role, then submit the invitation.

  5. Check the user list. Invited means the person still needs to complete the email invitation; Active means the account has been activated.

  6. Ask the teammate to open the invitation, confirm the workspace name and complete setup. They should sign in with the invited address.

Saving an invitation reserves a seat. If the invitation email cannot be queued, check the saved user before retrying.

Check or change access

Search or filter the Users list by status and role. Use Edit User to change allowed details or the assigned role. The existing email field is not editable in that form; contact support if the account address needs correction.

Changing a shared custom role affects all assigned users. Assign a different role when one person needs a different set of permissions. See Create and manage custom roles.

If an invitation does not work

  • Check the address and ask the teammate to check junk/spam folders and organizational mail filtering.

  • If the email already belongs to an invited or active user, inspect that record instead of inviting a duplicate.

  • If the user is Inactive, use the reactivation action when appropriate; it issues a new invitation and requires an available seat.

  • If the seat limit is reached, ask the billing administrator to review capacity or deactivate a person who no longer needs access.

  • If a role is missing or an assignment is rejected, check target-company scope and permission restrictions.

Choose the correct participant workflow

Use Users for internal teammates. Vendors, hiring managers and customer-company contacts have separate management and sharing workflows.
