Understand dashboard measures and date ranges

Interpret current workload, source performance, hiring outcomes, and unavailable dashboard data.

Dashboard sections use different scopes and time windows. Check what a measure counts before comparing it with a report. For navigation and actions, see Use the recruiting dashboard.

Current workload and Upcoming

Open jobs and the action queue show current work in your selected scope, independent of the Hiring intelligence date range.

Upcoming shows your own meetings and tasks for Today or 7 days, including today, regardless of team or recruiter filters.

Source performance

This section compares sources for applications added in the selected reporting period and their recorded progress. Read the metric selector and sample size. A percentage-point comparison is a difference between rates, not a count of additional hires.

Consider the sample size and application dates: recent candidates have had less time to progress. Application volume measures applications, not conversion or hiring success.

Hiring outcomes

This section separates hires recorded from candidates offered. Where supported, it also explains hiring timing and offer responses. Open a nonzero measure’s detail view to inspect contributing candidate–job records. Current access rules apply to those records, and closed jobs can contribute to the reporting period.

Offer records use the candidate and job together: the first offer dates the record, while the latest revision supplies the current response. Use the displayed definition when comparing offer totals.

Dates, scope, and missing values

  • Use Filters to keep job, recruiter, customer, and department scope consistent. Filter options depend on your workspace.

  • Use Insights period for source and outcome reporting. The dashboard displays its reporting timezone in the footer.

  • A zero after a successful load means no matching recorded activity for that measure. Unavailable and additional-access messages mean the measure could not be supplied; they are not zero.

Investigate an unexpected number

  1. Refresh the dashboard and read any section-level error.

  2. Check the chosen scope, filter chips, Insights period, and reporting timezone.

  3. Open the contributing records where a details link is available.

  4. Compare with the relevant report using matching filters. If the figures still disagree, contact support with the measure name, period, scope, and affected job.
