Change your appearance and navigation preferences

Choose available color, layout and readability settings for your CVViZ experience.

Use Settings β†’ System β†’ Appearance (Beta) to adjust the CVViZ application interface. Career-page branding and email signatures are configured separately.

Before you start

You need access to Settings. Editable appearance controls depend on your workspace's feature entitlement.

Change an available preference

  1. Open Settings β†’ System β†’ Appearance (Beta).

  2. If the editable controls are available, choose a Color Mode: Light, Dark, or Match system. Match system follows the device's color-scheme preference.

  3. Review Page Style and the available theme/brand colors. Use the custom-color control if you need another color.

  4. Under Layout & Navigation, choose Side menu or Top menu and review the available header/sidebar and content-width controls. Some options depend on the selected layout.

  5. Review Accessibility β†’ Weak Mode if the alternate color treatment helps you.

  6. Changes apply as you select them. Open a familiar page to check readability and navigation, then reopen Appearance to review the selected settings.

Appearance preferences apply to your signed-in user. Changes appear immediately; synchronization depends on your connection and feature availability.

If the page shows a locked preview

Locked preview controls do not save changes. Ask your administrator to check feature availability in Billing.

Keep branding changes in the right place

  • Use Career Page settings for the candidate-facing logo, cover and page colors.

  • Use Settings β†’ Communication β†’ Email Preferences for your email signature.

  • Use the custom-domain add-on workflow for the career-page address.

An application theme change does not replace those settings. See Configure your email signature and Set up a custom career page domain.

Troubleshooting

  • Settings look different after a layout change: reopen navigation and check the selected side/top-menu option.

  • Another browser shows different preferences: sign in to the same user and workspace, check connectivity and reopen Appearance. Do not assume another user's theme should match yours.

  • Text is difficult to read. Choose a standard color and check ordinary pages, buttons and warnings again.

  • Changes do not remain selected: distinguish a locked preview from editable controls, then Contact CVViZ support with the affected setting and browser.
