Prepare your browser and device for CVViZ

Check browser settings, connectivity and device suitability before troubleshooting.

CVViZ runs in a web browser at app.cvviz.com. Use a current browser and a stable connection for recruiting work and document uploads.

Browser and device checklist

  • Use an up-to-date Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox or Safari browser. Internet Explorer is unsupported.

  • Use a desktop or laptop for configuration, large imports and detailed comparisons. Navigation and available actions can differ on smaller screens.

  • Allow JavaScript and the site data needed to maintain your CVViZ session.

  • If a sign-in or integration flow requests a pop-up, allow that flow for CVViZ rather than changing browser protection globally.

  • Ensure you can open the source documents and receive mail at your registered work address.

Use your organization’s approved device and browser settings. Ask IT about restrictions affecting uploads, interviews or integrations.

Check connectivity

  1. Open CVViZ and confirm the workspace loads.

  2. If you use email or calendar integrations, confirm you can access the provider separately and that its connection is shown in CVViZ.

  3. If a page, document or connection is blocked on your corporate network, record the failed action and URL and ask IT to inspect the relevant request.

  4. Compare the same action on another approved browser or network when your organization's policy allows it.

Give IT the specific failed action and destination so they can review the relevant network restriction.

If something does not work

Save unsent text, reload the page and compare a private browser session to check for site-data or extension issues.

For persistent problems, see Troubleshoot browser, cache and site-data issues. For sign-in problems, use Troubleshoot sign-in problems.

Send useful support details

Include the browser name/version, device/operating system, the task that fails, exact error, time and timezone, and whether it happens in another browser or private session. Redact unrelated personal information from screenshots.

If you cannot sign in, email hello@cvviz.com or use the public contact page.
