Export report data and images

Export all matching report rows as CSV or capture the displayed view as JPEG, PNG, or SVG, with scope and expiry checks.

Use Export to download report rows as CSV or the displayed report as JPEG, PNG or SVG.

Before exporting

You need report access and, for CSV, your role’s data-export permission. Ask your administrator if Export to CSV is missing.

  1. Open the required report under Reports.

  2. Set the dates and available filters. Select the search button to apply a search.

  3. Wait for loading to finish and confirm the scope badge and Showing … count.

  4. Use Refresh for current data.

Date and display scope

Both selected dates are included. The report has no personal-time-zone selector, so date boundaries may differ from your local time zone.

1M, 6M and 1Y cover the previous 30, 180 and 365 days through today. Future dates, reversed ranges and spans exceeding 366 days are not accepted.

Matching counts cover all filtered records; charts, totals and percentages use displayed rows. Check the scope badge and page size before comparing figures.

Download CSV

  1. Select Export β†’ Export to CSV.

  2. Wait while Preparing CSV export… appears. The export uses your report, dates, search and supported filters.

  3. Allow the browser download, then check the CSV’s columns and row count.

CSV includes matching rows across pages, up to 10,000 rows. It can contain additional fields with data-field column names. Nested data, such as the Resume Upload daily timeline, is stored in a single cell.

Data changes during preparation can affect the file. Download within 24 hours; prepare a new export after expiry.

Download a report image

  1. Set the page and page size you want to show, then wait for the charts and table to load.

  2. Select Export β†’ Export to JPEG, Export to PNG, or Export to SVG.

  3. Open the downloaded file and confirm that the required labels, chart, and table rows are visible before sharing it.

Images capture the displayed report, including its current page. Use CSV for calculations or undisplayed rows. SVG output may contain elements that are not editable vectors.

Troubleshooting and handling

  • Too many rows: narrow the date range or supported filters. For reports retaining zero-activity entities, use search where available or contact support.

  • Still processing or failed: check the filters and retry. Contact support with the report, dates and message if it persists.

  • Expired: prepare a new export.

  • Image fails or is incomplete: wait for loading, use a smaller displayed page, and try PNG. Verify the downloaded result.

  • CSV and chart totals differ: check all-matching versus displayed-row scope and whether data changed between load and export.

Share exports according to your organization’s access rules. Changing CVViZ access does not retract downloaded files.
