Publish jobs to your career page and job boards

Set career-page visibility and individual free job boards, complete integration prerequisites, and verify public listings.

Manage a job's public visibility from Get More Applicants in the job editor. Career-page publishing, free-board distribution, and paid advertising are separate choices.

Before you start

You need access to edit the job. Finish the required job details and approval process. Board selection becomes available when the job is approved, is In Progress, and is no longer a draft. A selected board still applies its own eligibility and review rules.

For the career page, complete and publish your organization's career site using Build and publish your career page. Save the job before checking a public link.

Publish and check the job

  1. Open the job for editing and select Get More Applicants.

  2. Review the career-page publishing panel. Career-page and job-board publishing are enabled by default when a job is created. Use Show on Career Page to control whether the role appears in the career-page list, then save the job. Check the panel’s publication status.

  3. In Free Job Boards, inspect the individual board tiles. Available means you can select the board; Enabled means it is selected. Needs setup and Not live identify prerequisites, not successful publication.

  4. Select the boards appropriate for the vacancy. Recommended adds available recommended boards; Select all selects boards currently available; Clear removes selections. Check the final selection before saving, especially after using a bulk action.

  5. Save your changes. Open the public career page and the job's application page in a separate browser session. Verify title, location, description, and the application form.

  6. Allow an estimated 24–48 hours for processing after eligibility and setup. Each board reviews its listings.

Complete board-specific setup

  • Indeed: configure Set up Indeed Apply, then enable the Indeed tile for the individual job. Select Indeed separately for each job.

  • LinkedIn: add the numeric LinkedIn Company ID in Company Details when requested. Use a valid company work email for the job poster or job contact. Review the publishing requirements shown in the editor, including the active-job limit for a Company ID. Follow its LinkedIn instructions to locate the ID.

  • Other boards: select the tiles offered in your account and complete each board’s requirements.

Paid channels require their own campaign and checkout. Use Create a paid job advertising campaign before buying advertising. For social links, use Share jobs and use referral links.

Changes and troubleshooting

Disabling a board changes its distribution settings. Third-party removal and caches may take additional time. Turning off Show on Career Page hides the role from the career-page list but leaves its direct link available while the job is In Progress and approved. To stop public applications, set the job to Paused. Closing the job also removes its public availability.

If a tile is disabled, read its explanation and resolve job approval/status or integration setup first. If the career page opens but the job is missing, check the job's career-page visibility, approval, draft state, and status. If one external board is missing while the public application page works, give support the job ID, board, saved selection, and approximate enablement time.
