Job Advertising

Track ad campaign delivery and performance

Interpret paid campaign clicks, apply clicks, pricing, delivery windows, and pending publication without confusing them with hires.

Open a paid job campaign to review delivery, payment and advertising performance.

Open and check a campaign

  1. Open Ad campaigns and locate the campaign in All campaigns, Active, Scheduled, Drafts, Cancelled, or Offline.

  2. Open the campaign and confirm its job title, campaign number and Application page link.

  3. Check Payment and the overall campaign status. A confirmed payment can precede publication. If publishing is incomplete, use Retry publishing on the existing campaign; it does not take another payment.

  4. Review Delivery and each channel’s status, publishing dates, duration, price and clicks.

  5. Reopen the campaign for updated provider results. A missing value differs from a reported zero.

Understand the metrics

  • Channel subtotal Β· USD: the selected channels’ campaign price, including available discounts. Check the Billing invoice for the final amount charged, including taxes.

  • Total clicks: provider-reported clicks, which can include repeated clicks by the same person.

  • Apply clicks: interactions with the apply action, including candidates who do not complete an application.

  • Expected clicks / expected apply clicks: provider estimates rather than guaranteed results. Daily figures describe advertising activity.

  • Cost per click: channel subtotal divided by reported clicks, rounded to two decimals. It is unavailable when there are no clicks or insufficient data.

  • Missing metrics: a dash can mean tracking has not started or a value has not been reported. Zero is a reported numeric value.

Compare advertising with recruitment results

Review applications and hires in the job separately. Apply clicks do not measure completed applications or hires, and a board source label does not identify a specific paid campaign.

For your own cost-per-application analysis, use a consistent attribution method, period and cost basis: channel subtotal or final invoice amount.

Actions and troubleshooting

Use Edit campaign when available. Cancel campaign asks for confirmation and starts cancellation; refunds depend on provider terms.

Use Retry status for a failed payment check or Retry publishing for a paid campaign awaiting publication. For unresolved delivery or metrics, contact support with the campaign number, channel, status, dates and displayed message.
