Publishing to job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, careers page)

Distribute your job to your careers page, premium boards (LinkedIn / Indeed / Glassdoor), and 20+ free boards.

Where to publish from

Open the job, then go to the Job Boards tab. Job board distribution is only available once the job is approved and in In Progress status β€” drafts and unapproved jobs can't be published.

The tab is split into two collapsible panels: Free Job Boards and Premium Advertising.

Career Page (always available)

Toggle controls whether the job appears on your branded careers page. This is the default and most-used distribution channel.

Premium Advertising

Three premium channels, each with its own setup requirements:

LinkedIn

  • Requires a valid LinkedIn Company ID in your Settings β†’ Company Profile (a tooltip on the field links to LinkedIn's docs on finding it).

  • Without the Company ID, LinkedIn posting is disabled.

Indeed

  • Controlled by.

  • Requires the Indeed Easy Apply integration to be enabled.

Glassdoor

  • Controlled by.

  • Distributed via Indeed's Easy Apply integration.

Free Job Boards

The Free Job Boards panel has a single Enabled / Disabled switch in its header. When enabled, the job is distributed to the included boards. The free boards CVViZ pushes to:

Each board picks up the job from your CVViZ feed; indexing latency varies by board.

Required for board publishing

Make sure these are filled before publishing β€” most boards reject jobs without them:

  • Country, State, City, and Zip Code (the Details tab shows an alert if any are blank: "Posting jobs to most of the job boards won't work if state, city and zip code are blank").

  • Salary range (required by Google Jobs structured data).

  • Job description with at least 10 words (recommended 150+).

Updating across boards

Edit the job in CVViZ and save. Updates re-sync to connected boards on their next index pass β€” minutes for some, hours for others.

Removing from boards

Set the job's status to Closed, Cancelled, or Archived, or toggle the relevant board panel off. Boards typically remove the listing within a few hours.

Tracking applications by source

Every applicant carries a source tag (Career page, Indeed, LinkedIn, Google Jobs, etc.). The Resume Upload Source dashboard widget and the corresponding report break down volume per source so you can tell which boards are working.

Tips

  • Lead with location and remote eligibility in the title β€” it's a top ranking factor on most boards.

  • Add a salary range β€” listings with salary get significantly more applicants on Indeed and Google Jobs.

  • Don't enable every free board for every role β€” filter quality on a few high-fit boards first.
